Edgefield Farm is a small Morgan breeding farm located in Northern Indiana. We are the proud owners of Edgefield Sun Gold, a son of Sunup Neptune, one of the great foundation stallions of colorful Morgans.

We have owned and raised Morgans for about 30 years. The Edgefield prefix has been registered since 1980. Our breeding includes many of the old bloodlines, especially Funquest, Flyhawk, and Brunk lines. Qualities we strive for in our breeding program are disposition and trainability, Morgan type, and color (an added bonus!!) We are members of the American Morgan Horse Association, Indiana Morgan Horse Club, and the Rainbow Morgan Horse Association.

Welcome Edgefield Victor, (Edgefield Sun Gold x After Dark Scarlet Lace). Born May 1st at 5:00 (photo at 2 days). I believe he will be a seal brown, much darker than his dam. Before he was born, we joked about naming him Edgefield Olidipo (being Indiana fans), but figured people would not know how to pronounce it. So we chose Victor (winner). (Victor Olidipo has chosen to enter the NBA draft, so will not be at IU next year!) Victor is for sale, and you can see more pictures of him here.
