Edgefield Farm - Quality Morgan Horses
Edgefield Farm is a small Morgan breeding farm
located in Northern Indiana. We are the
proud owners of Edgefield Sun Gold, a son
of Sunup Neptune, one of the great
foundation stallions of colorful Morgans.
We have owned and raised Morgans for about 30
years.
The Edgefield prefix has been registered since 1980.
Our breeding includes many of the old bloodlines, especially Funquest, Flyhawk,
and Brunk lines. Qualities we strive for in our breeding program are
disposition and trainability,
Morgan type, and color (an added bonus!!)
We are members of the American Morgan
Horse Association, Indiana Morgan Horse Club,
and the Rainbow Morgan Horse Association.
Thanks for visiting. Stop back often as the seasons change and new
pictures are added.

Edgefield News
Winter Wonderland at Edgefield, January 2010. Pictured is Edgefield Vermeil,
aka "Maddie", our buckskin silver coming yearling filly.

Meet our newest addition to the herd. Rosie is a 15.2 H solid black mare. She will cross beautifully with
our Sun Gold. They share some of the same blood lines through Sunup Mike and Torchfire. She is big, balanced and beautiful!
And lives up to her name "sweet"! Thank you Tom Bainbridge for
allowing her to spend some time here. After she foals
here she will make the trip to Georgia, as she has been purchased by Laura Behning. Needless to say, we are both excited about this lovely mare!!!
