Edgefield Farm - Quality Morgan Horses
Edgefield Farm is a small Morgan breeding farm
located in Northern Indiana. We are the
proud owners of Edgefield Sun Gold, a son
of Sunup Neptune, one of the great
foundation stallions of colorful Morgans.
We have owned and raised Morgans for about 30
years.
The Edgefield prefix has been registered since 1980.
Our breeding includes many of the old bloodlines, especially Funquest, Flyhawk,
and Brunk lines. Qualities we strive for in our breeding program are
disposition and trainability,
Morgan type, and color (an added bonus!!)
We are members of the American Morgan
Horse Association, Indiana Morgan Horse Club,
and the Rainbow Morgan Horse Association.
Thanks for visiting. Stop back often as the seasons change and new
pictures are added.

Edgefield News

July 2010-
Edgefield Uncommon Storm (Unconventional x HCTF Catch the Storm) bay dun (behind) and
Edgefield Gold Grace (Edgefield Sun Gold x After Dark Scarlet Lace), buckskin
(foreground), investigating a feed sack- just in case there might be something interesting in there! Both fillies are for sale- see our for sale page for more information and pictures!

July 11, 2010- We took our yearling buckskin silver filly Maddie (Edgefield Vermeil, Edgefield Sun Gold x Foxton Frosty Dawn) to her first show today.
Overall she did very well for having
to "be good" for 6 hours. She had some moments. She won her class of 3 (Saddle
type mares all ages). We were very proud of her - as was Rachel who showed
her. It was a youth show, warm up for our county fair, which Maddie will be
attending also. All the horses were very interesting to Maddie. She would
really look at the pinto/paint horses - She has not seen too many of them!
