Edgefield Farm welcomes Edgefield Vermeil! (ver-may) Vermeil is gold plated sterling silver, and that is exactly what "Maddie" is. She is a
silver dapple buckskin. The silver gene is compliments of her silver
dapple dam, Foxton Frosty Dawn, and the buckskin from her sire Edgefield Sun
Gold. Silver dapple buckskins are rare in the Morgan breed- at present there are three buckskin silver
stallions and one buckskin silver mare- Maddie.
Maddie is a real Diva. Whenever anyone comes to visit, she knows they are here to see her,
and runs to the barn for attention. She has a heart of gold, and loves people. It will be exciting to see the color changes as she grows.
